This is the sit and go strategy in no limit Texas Hold Em poker. There are usually three stages during a sit and go tournament.

Early Stage

This is the beginning of the game. In a sit and go tournament, there is usually a maximum of 9 players at one table. This will be considered early play until 5 players remain.

Middle Stage

(middle stage of the game) – this is the stage when players can play.

This is often referred to as a bubble. The bubble is when there are only a few players left who can get out until you have money.

Late stage – This is the stage where

Now you have the money and your main goal is to get first place. If you’re a fan of online pkv games, you may already have experience playing sit and go tournament poker.

During the early stages of a sit and go tournament, I will play really tight. The advantage of this is that others will picture you as playing very tight. We intend to use this to our advantage. First of all, I wouldn’t play anything but those 10 starting hands.

  • Ace, Ace.
  • King, king
  • King, Queen
  • Ace, Queen
  • Jack, jack
  • Ten, ten
  • Nine, nine
  • King, queen
  • Queen, jack
  • Eight, eight.

The way you should play these hands before the flop is to raise. With the two best starting hands, I would most likely go all in. There seems to be a lot of wild players in the early stages, and that’s where you can sometimes catch them. It can be tedious, but remember that you are saving your money for cards that will give you a bigger advantage.

Now you are in the Middle Stage. This is where many new players start to tighten up, and you want to do the exact opposite. Blinds are now worth a steal and will actually give you a significant profit. If you’re a dealer and the hand involves only the small blind and the big blind, boldly raise two or three times to the big blind. This steal will allow you to win many blinds. I would also advise you to make the exact same raise with each of the top 10 starting hands. I would also start playing with Ace X suited. This means any hand with an ace and any other card as long as it is suited. The goal of this hand is to get a flush. If you only hit one of the suited cards on the flop, I would fold to any bet. Using this strategy will help you build your stack while the others are slowly dwindling.

Now that you’re in the game, you’re going for the gold. At this stage, people are dropping like flies. The blinds are so high in this stage that it forces people to go all in with almost every hand. Having a decent chip lead helps in this phase. This is where you can continue to steal people’s stacks if they are really short stacked. If you have a decent hand, force them to go all in. If you have a short stack in this phase, I would go all in with one of the top ten hands mentioned earlier.

Using this guide you should already have an idea about sit n go tournaments. There is enough knowledge here to get you to the bubble every time. Play smart and you too can make money playing poker.
